The history of our hotel began in the early 1910s, when it was founded by Mr Henri and Madame Chauffray, who ran it until 1955 with the help of their daughter-in-law, Berthe, who remarried Raphael Bisson, a distiller of calvados. In 1955, Janine Chauffray married Guy Helix and together they ran the restaurant until 1979. This was the 3rd generation.
In 1971, « Les Charlots » came to film an episode of the famous film « LES BIDASSES EN FOLIE » in this charming hotel in Normandy. Guy Helix, the owner, played the role of one of the hotel's guests. The ceiling of the restaurant will long bear the marks of the actors' lively visits.

J'ai réservé une chambre deluxe équipée d'une baignoire et avec Pdj pour le montant de 160€ la nuit.
En arrivant, j'ai été surpris de constaté que la chambre devait fait entre 16 et 18m2 (et pas 26 !) et qu'elle était équipée d'une douche et non d'une baignoire.
Je suis descendu pour le signaler à la réception qui m'a répondu qu'effectivement la chambre ne faisait pas 26m2, qu'ils étaient désolés de la douche malgré le choix d'une baignoire mais que l'hôtel était plein et donc pas de possibilité de changer de chambre.
J'étais avec des amis qui avaient tous payés entre 98 et 110€ leur chambre (des standards pour la plupart) mais bizarre, toutes leurs chambres étaient beaucoup plus grandes que celle que j'avais payé plus cher !
Donc si vous voulez être "sous-classé" en payant pour un sur-classement, vous êtes au bon endroit.
Autre point : en échangeant par mail avec l'hôtel, avant de faire mon choix, il m'a été précisé que le restaurant proposait des menus dont l'un à 32€).
j'ai donc réservé pour 6 mais voila, aucun menu et seulement une carte où nous avons dîné, sans faire d'excès, pour 60€/ personne.

Enfin, je dois encore vérifié dans mes échanges avec l'hôtel, mais je suis pratiquement certain d'avoir pré-payé le PDJ, mais il m'a été facturé 15€ en plus du prix déjà acquitté.
A cela j'ajoute qu'en dehors de la jeune fille souriante de l'accueil, le personnel n'est pas aimable.
